250r for cheap... must go! nice and fast!

I have a trx 250r for sale. here is the list.
Will easily spin tires on dry pavement throught atleast third gear (wont try it any faster than that!)It is an 88/89 geometry 250r with an 86 motor and an 87-89 crank and piston in it. RUNS AWESOME!!! The tranny was just completely rebuilt. This motor has had about 20 hours on it since then. It has 0 hours on the new top end though. It is a Paul Turner port job for mid to top end and came off of steve gabner (i think is he name) race bike. It is .40 over with a wiseco piston in it. It also has a brand new rebuilt hot rods crank that also has 0 hours on it. I just went through and had new bearings put in the tranny again when teh crank was rebuilt and all new main bearings and seals and seals for the rest of the motor. This motor is brand new.

just thought I'd ask..trade for a project parting out quad, you could prob get around 2 grand or so out of it, I just dont really have the time to ebay it, I'm movin in a few months..Only tihng you couldn't sell is the frame cuz it has no title..you could prob just modify it a lil and call it a custom frame and sell it without a title...Just thought I'd throw that out there..and I'm only like 3 hrs out of harrisburg.

it's a 2002 scrambler 400 4x4..I've seen the motors alone often go for 700$$ on ebay. It's good for if you're looking to part it out, if you are looking to keep it, it wouldn't be your style, it's a sport util. If you want to know the story for why it doesnt have a title, lemme know and I will gladly PM it to you, it's a long story. Dont worry..never stolen or anything, I have been the only owner. Pics, not sure how to mail em to you, just go to photobucket.com, search for pastfast125..look through my album, it's a black and red quad.

Things that are wrong with it...If you are parting it out, wouldn't really be a big problem...Plastics, would need to be repainted, or just xstripped down to the original metallic blue color that the X series of scrambler 400s came with. The front wheel drive gear box drain plug is stripped out, just needfs to be tapped bigger and get a bigger bolt. Also, the a arms need to be painted..I stripped them down somewhat for painting, but never got around to doing it.

It has an AAEN top end pipe and silencer. I never got the quad jetted properly yet, but as I said, if you were parting it out it wouldn't be a problem, cuz you would probably sell the engine sepereate from the carb.

O yea, it needs a new ignition key wired up, but if you're parting it out..you probably wouldn't realy get much for the wiring set up anyway, so u could just trash it, or wire a new switch up. That's about all I can think of..if you have any questions just let me know.
