Anyone know where you can get a 1" inset rim?
are you talking a 1+4 type rim to make the front narrower?

Yes I purchased +1 a-arms and they are going to be too wide for the harescrambles I race. I want to narrow the front by 1" on each side to get back to stock

Fatboy, thats the exact setup I'm running. +1 Houser arms with 4+1 offset wheels. Douglas and Hiper Tech both makes these wheels. I was running Douglas...

Jeff,
Thanks for hooking me up with those rims today. great doing business with you. I can't wait to get them.
Did you use the stock dust deals on your a-arms? I went to mount mine tonight and wasn't sure whether to use them in the mount or not.

What do a set of the rear hipers go for to match those fronts?

No thats my 250r! Don't let him fool you. I ran the stock rims on front with the +1 arms for a long time, the overall width is about the width of the bead versus th 4-1 offset. My rear beadlocks should be in anytime.:blah
Sorry about being off subject.
What is the stock offset of the 250R?
I've wondered and this info will also help me decide on what size A-arms to get.
Thanks
Does douglas have a less ugly wheel (like the billet center etc) in that offset for the 400EX?
would anyone know if there would be any clearence problems with the long travel houser a arms?
How about price???
thnx

thnx You can get that 4+1 in the billet center bead lock but its big$$$:huh They work with the Houser long travels just fine, thats what me an Rowlrag are running. That is a pic of his bike, I don't have any pics of mine yet with the Hiper's.
would the hiper's be less expensive?
Lighter I would think.
Any opinions?
