Reaming Spindles

I notice for some a arms they say that reaming is required, what does reaming the spindles involve?

it means you will have to make the hole in the spindle larger where the ball joint stud goes thru. Can be done with a larger drill bit, or u can by reaming tools for drills or dremel type hand grinders
