well the 400ex is 9100....so I don't think the R is only 7500:huh ...I think it's 9700

The '06 rev limiter is 9850, like someone already said. Add the HRC kit to get to 10,000 .

LOL put a tackometer on a stock 400 ex and TRY to hit 9100 on it !!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes: Sorry man to make fun, but thats way off.:)

well it might be..but I am sure 9100 is correct on the EX...you can get rev boxes that take it up to 10200....it won't hit it in 5th...but it will rev out to that in neutral, 1,2,3...

9850 rpm is correct, and hrc gets close to 11000 rpm.
The hrc kit pulls hard mid to high rpm.
