Same thing we do every year, pay our property taxes for the 1st 1/2 of the year, do a few other little things like fix vehicles( our motorhome this year, which will be a chunk of change :() & TAKE A DUNE TRIP WAHHOOOOOOOO we take our dune trip to Sand Lake for Presidents Day, Our Anniversary(8th this year :Q), & the youngest boys BD(7th this year :Q) anything left over will go to a savings acct..............................I hope haha :o I already spent a little of it on new paddles/wheels :D:D yipppeeeeeee probably end up coughing up some for sme wheels for the mini paddles but we'll see!!!!

I'll be going to McD's and buying myself a burger and fries . :ermm:
I didn't make any taxable money this year ( insurance $$ isn't taxable) so I wasn't going to file BUT my where I used to work finally sent me my backpay and vacation pay from 2 years ago so I have to claim a whole $485 . I should get back $160 in taxes that I paid on that amount . If only they would have waited another week , I wouldn't have had to file anything . :grr:

For me, I already own about 400 shares and I'm looking for something a little higher risk. I'm looking at stock around the $10/share price and maybe have it jump a buck or so and then bail on it and take my money and walk. Now, if our stock was down around $17 like it was a few years ago I'd buy as much of it as I could afford. I still buy our stock as a part of my 401k.

It's possible. If he claimed 0 and has a lot of deuctions (home loan intrest, kids, business expenses, etc..) you could easily get that much back.
I paid about $23k total in taxes last year and I claim a 1.

I found the stock I think I'm going to toy with just to see what happens...Sirius satellite radio. Most analysts agree that this stock has tremendous growth potential and it closed somewhere around $5.80 a share. Worst thing that could happen is I lose a couple thousand dollars but the upside is huge. This stock was once at $30 (obviously over-valued) but to buy it around $6 and potentially sell for $10, $15 or $20. I'll gladly quadruple my money for doing absolutely nothing.

Always good news when you find out it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg to fix your vehicle . I wish I could say the same ... my car took a crap on me the other day and it's going to cost atleast $700 to fix the computer in it . Not real good timing , cuz I have to pay movers about $700 to move all my stuff from my apartment to our house . Oh and don't feel bad about not riding in 5 months .... my YFZ has NOTHING wrong with it and I haven't touched it in a year and half . :grr: :macho
Income tax return would come in sooooo handy right now . :(
