need info on wr 450f starter button setup

i was told using the wr 450f starter switch it would hook directly into the yfz starter wires via splicing etc.. is this true? im about to order one to get rid of the stock cluster, thanks

I used a yz kill switch, I would have to look at it to see I cut out, but it was really easy.

any 2 wire switch will work.the wr switch is more water proof than the yz switch.
