hey i was just wondering if like maier,or any brand really, if their aftermarket plastic is stronger. i mean the 400ex always has problem with their rear fenders cracking right around the seat because there is so much weight being carried and the plastic is just not strong enough to take the abuse. so i was just wondering if you buy an aftermarket companies rear fenders for the ex, if they would have a little more support to keep them from cracking? thanks

THE STOCK PLASTIC COMPARED TO THE MEIR ARE LITTLE THICKER AND ARE STRONGER IN A WAY. I DON'T SEE ANY FLEX LIKE 250 SAID. JUST MY OPINION THOUGHT.

compare the 400ex fenders or the 300ex stock fenders to maier fenders, you will see a differnce in flex.
