Hinson Clutch Basket

OK i had my motor rebuilt with a 470 kit...and i got an entire hinson clutch setup put in the bike (basket, hub, etc). I got abbout 7 races on this clutch and it started going out. We replaced the plates cuz i figured that i was about time neways...and the clutch was stilll slipping and not working right.

We pulled the basket out and it had HUGE grooves in it.

Now do you guys think that the basket should have gone out that quick??? or do u think it is possible that i got screwed and instead of a new basket i got a used one put in??


just an opinion question i guess...

the basket shouldn't have grooved that fast.... your steels and fibers should still be good also.. sound like you have oil issues or instillation maybe.
