i already have a hmf slip on and want a header that gives the most power

I've heard good things about the FMF Powerbomb, and it'll match up with your slip on.

FMF Power Bomb all the way! my buddy put one on his 05 ex, i put one on my old 350 raptor, and if they made one for the Preddy, i would put one on there too. in both cases, we had an HMF sport slip on before (just like you) and you can expect about a 2HP increase after jetting. Powerbomb all the way!

the 350's Power Bomb! the "Bomb" is actually bigger on the 400ex!

will a hmf ballance fit on a fmf pwoerbomb header?

all slip on silencers that fit the stock header will fit the powerbomb header for the 400ex. if it was me i would send that HMF to the company and have them convert it to the full system. i think you will get more gains out of HMF's header than the powerbomb because it is larger. the full HMF's run really well on a built motor too.

To be honest, though a header does give you a little more power, it really isn't necessary. The improvement is not going to be some big change.... but it will give you a little more, and make it snappier on the bottom (Most notably).

Overall, if you really are looking for a header, my vote goes to the powerbomb.

FMF claims it will queit down an exhaust, not sure if it really does or not but it won't make it louder I can say that.

I did feel a little power increse in the mid range when i added my powerbomb. I got mine for $195.00 shipped on ebay. im puttin on the hmf slip on next month

I had one when I had fmf exhaust. If you get it make sure to get the little fmf heat shield for it. Mine started to role and I couldn't get my leg out from under it quick enough. Mine I bet it took 1 1/2 for the burn to heal on the back of my ankle.

I may be wrong but isn't the FMF Powerbomb the only available aftermarket header that will fit any slip-on exhaust?

do you have to re-jet when adding a header? Because I have a WB slip on and want to get the powerbomb to go with it.

pro circuit just came out with a universal header to. i havent herd much on it but it looks sweet.

When adding the powerbong you'll need to up the pilot jet or it will be kinda flat off the bottom end. I run a 42 pilot.
