Aftermarket Axles

For using an aftermarket axle on a YFZ, do you have to reuse the O rings that are on the inside of the sproket and brake hubs when putting them on the new axle? Thanks.

i am pretty sure we reused ours fred

Do they need to go back in though? I've heard from one guy that he didnt put them back in and his RPM has been good for over a year. So it shouldnt hurt anything right?

all they are is a dust and water seal. ive seen 400ex's run without them with no ill affects

sounds good...beside the with the outer seals and sealed bearing in the carrier they should be safe.
