I have a CT 310 top end for sale. It has a fresh bore and new piston. It has an O-ring head with interchange domes. The porting is for mid range. The current bore is only 72.95mm (300cc) so there are a lot of bores left.
The new piston is the 87-89 type, so the current set-up is for a long rod motor with out a spacer plate. This piston will not work at all in a short rod motor. If you want to run this top end on a short rod motor the piston will need to be changed to the 86 type.
I am including a spacer plate that is matched to the cylinder. This will only be needed if you decided that you want to run an 86 type piston in a long rod motor.
