Need Help Dont Know Which One

hey I have a problem im am getting a new fourwheeler and cannot decide between the arcticat dvx and the yamaha yfz.
I do alot of trail riding and am planning on racing the 06' season.
Also i was wondering what problems the YFZ has been having throughout all years of production. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Go with the yfz, I had a 03 kfx 400 that I raced this past year and it was great, it is a fantastic machine, but it just cant keep up with the 450's. I just bought a 06 yfz and actualy raced the last to races of last season on it and it is like night and day. I have not heard of any real problems with the 06.

yeh theres no comparison between a dvx and a yfz, i havent heard of and problems? only the 04's

With the '06 I've heard of two bolts in the starter cover or something like that being loose from the factory. I would do a search on it, I know it's something that you'd want to check out. Other than that I don't think there have been that many problems, but every company will have a few bugs in their machines when they make major changes.

I have heard that also, but I checked mine and they were tight to specs.

as long as you keep up on maintence (valve adjustment, oil changes, and all that) you should be good with the YFZ. what type of racing do you plan on doing?
