I would say go for it. I've had my LTE's for about 6 months and love them to death.

Pros:

Sound great even with the silencers in.

Adds HP like any full system plus you get an aluminum air box (so cost really isn't much difference than full system plus air box)

Cons:

MUST use their OPEN air box

2 pipes to get damaged up instead of 1

All I can say is look at the website. My buddy just put LTE's on his raptor. Adds an extra 15 HP. Find a full system that does that! I know the 400ex hp is not as extreme but is compairable to a full system and then some.

My vote goes to LTE's. I trail ride a lot and have never had an issue with mud or water in my airbox. Yes you still get some in there but nowhere what you would think.

yeah, no way you get 15 horse. i was told they do help on the raptor due to the raptors dual exhaust port, like the 400ex's. JOEX does have that setup. i have talked to people who went from sparks to LTE and was happy with the change. i really couldn't tell you much more.

Yes, I do have the LTE's:)

I bought mine used, much less than retail which I think is a little over $700 for the full kit. That price includes an airbox that holds the battery and nearby components. The battery needs to be relocated for this system to fit. I belive LTE does sell the system without the airbox at a lesser cost for those who have already relocated their battery.

I can't give a real comparison on how this system works on it's own because I did other mods at the same time: 416 bore, 10.8 Ross piston, cam, port work.....

As the fair weather riding season gets closer and time allows i'm hoping to do some switching around of certain components for comparison.

I will say this is a much more free revving motor, very different than stock. Not sure it suits me though.
