im not good at english..so sorry for some errors...
i m a yamaha owner and i just got :eek: with this new quad...its simply the best thing i ride until this days...soft suspension, great riding position...and a great engine...
it was a short test drive... to say its a realable quad... i remember when everybody was waiting for the new TRX450 and when it came it was a disaster...
so..for what i saw..it will be a champion quad !!!

Your english is better than most americans on here. ;)
As far as the disaster goes, he's probably thinking of the batch that had the really faulty crank bearings (that honda has still never recalled :() Not as bad as the 01 raptors bearings, but there were a lot of cases.

i cant wait for mine i havent ridden a quad in years (like 18) so im really excited to get back on one
but its looking like i have to wait another 6 weeks before mine comes in :(

That can't be.......Honda and Yamaha have crank bearing problems?!?!?!? I thought only Cannondales had crank bearing problems! :rolleyes:
At least Cannondale admitted the problem and took steps to correct it.

No, the Raptor had One-way starter bearing probs. Oh, and tranny probs too. Corrected by Yamaha from 02 and up I believe. Luckily my 01 has not had any problems.

Im guessing what he meant was that it was beat in all the shoot-outs in the magizines. Its good to see people around the world getting into our great sport.

Speeking again of the LTR..here is the Portuguese Oficial Suzuki driver..Joao Lopes..winning a 1 and a half hour endurance race on the new machine...

this weekend was here in Portugal a quadrace too, and another driver in a brand new LTR crashes with a back shocker link brokken just like J Jones... i think that's allready a problem ...

another race took this weekend here..a quadcross one..and another driver got out because of the same link problem J Jones had ..it seem's to be a problem on the R...

trust me it looks good in person.. I went to the dealer saturday and they had 2 and I sat on one and it felt good.. Just standing there looking at it wow.. It does look very cool.. Has a nice stance to it..
