This is a 2000 Honda 400ex bored out to a 425cc. It is basically set up for trail riding or could be raced in the woods. It has Full belly and swingarm RPM Skid plates. CT Graphics and Seat cover, Chrome LRD Full Exhaust , Stage II hot cam, Modified stock carb (w/choke taken out) jetting is spot on! with airbox lid removed(also have airbox lid), Graydon Nerf Bars w/foot peg kickups, Chrome DG Front Bumper, Renthel handlebars, Pro Design Kill Switch, EZ Pull clutch Lever, Hinson Billet Brake Pedal, Pro Design Billet Shifter Lever, ITP Off Set Wheels (wider). JL Block off for rear brake, Works Triple Rate w/rezzies (originally for 250r +2 a-arms but work really good on stock 400ex) Front Shocks. Shockwears shock covers front and rear. Nacs Headlight covers, PEP steering stablizer. (New GSXR 1000 battery bought in 2005 and replaced the starter silenoid) I have most of all the stock components like Stock Wheels and Tires etc... in great shape! that would come wtih this, and I think thats it but I could be wrong. I had this quad for 4 years and haven't rode it that much . Probably about a Total of 5 rides on the big bore and I haven't rode it more than 3 TIMES IN THE PAST TWO YEARS!. I have two other Decked out Quads for MX I and just ride this around the yard every now and then to keep the battery charged. I could care less if i sell it so please serious offers only. Thanks!!!!

PS. Also, I put the Big Bore in it with a 11:1 JE High Compression piston and the stage II Hot cam in it about 5 rides ago. It is really smooth and has great usable power! and some would say "IT'S FAST!" This quad has been rode shows signs of cosmetic wear since the plastic is from my old 99 400ex that I kept since it had my numbers on it already. and is not perfect but would make someone ---VERY HAPPY!!!! ---I have other plastics and parts that could be swapped for $ if you wanted to suite it for your own riding or racing. Location is in Middle Northern TN.

I'm in south central KY just across the line straight up 31-e. Clean bike, just wondering how much you would have to have (I don't like to price other people'stuff) and if you would trade for anything?

I use to have a 99 400ex . I bought the 99ex all stock back in 2000 for $4,500 and put about $1,800 into it with all of these parts except for the bigbore and hot cam. Total=$6,300.... THEN in 2001 I found this 2000 400ex for $3,200 and bought it since it was a good deal! It was all stock so I switched all the accesorries over from the 99 to the 00, then sold the 99 for $3,000. I decided to installed the JE 425 big bore ($200)and Stage II Hot cam ($130) in it to keep up with the (then new) Suzuki Z400 and it did! very well I might add! I tested it against my friend's lightly modified Z400 with his airbox lid removed, High compresion JE piston and full Yoshi exhaust. They were dead even. I just didn't have reverse! So! I have about $6,600!!! invested into this and I never even ride it! I just want to get about Half of my money out of it now.:ermm: $3,300?? I know that the New 450's are out now and that they are faster but they are also more expensive. I'm willing to take ---$3,000--- for this bike and that would be killing me already. Even If you found a 400ex in good shape now (all stock) for $2,000 and put all these parts on it it would still be over $3,000. :) I'm not willing to trade down but if you have something of equal value I could use I might think about it.

If I sold it for $2,500, I would take off a few parts. But I would rather just keep it if I can't get what I want for it. It is still worth $3,000 to me even if some others don't think so. Especially after I invested so much into it. I KNOW IT'S WORTH IT! All the other 400ex's and other bikes out there for sale are a coin toss if you give less money for them UNLESS you find someone desperate for money. :D

PS: I will be cutting off the back of the subframe at the grab bar and fabricating little plates for mounting bolts, then welding them up for a "PRM Wide Grab bar" this weekend if I have time. It will make the quad ALOT! easier to pick up and handle while swinging the back end around or loading into the back of a truck. It will protect more of the rear plastic if you roll backwards in the woods and hit a tree or something and it might even look cooler;) too!

I'll post some picks when I get around to it.;)
