I was wondering if anybody had tried the new itp sx out. And how they held up. Did they do well in hard and soft tracks.

Im sure they are great tires and all, but they are way to expensive for my taste. But then again, im more of a maxxis guy myself, i love my razrs and the fact that they are much cheaper.

I just got them on the rear and they don't seem to hook up as well in straight line as my Holeshot MX's did, but these things GRIP in the corners and don't slide at all. So needless to say I'll be going with turf tamers or MX's again when these wear out.

They are designed for hardpack. The compound is much softer than the MXR4's. I don't think they'll hold up as good as the MXR4's but sometimes you have to give up durability for performance. I may try some this summer when my track dries out. I have both in stock sitting next to each other and I'm still running the MXR's for indoors.

I wonder how the new MXR6 will compare the SX and R4. Seems every time I buy new tires a new model is released.

who makes 18" tires that fit on 9" rims besides kenda. I have 9" hypers and would like to try something other than the klaws, I can not get them to slide in the corners consitantly.

I have the sx in the rear and i have only one race on them on a indoor track and i really like them. They seem to corner nice and get up and go when you get on them
