I have a couple of questions.

1.) Can someone explain to me the difference between the X-ring chains and the O-rings.

2.) What is the difference between Alloy and steel sprokets? I would think the steel would be the way to go since they should be stronger, but correct me if I am wrong.

3.) Last one. How do all of the chain companys compare. Im looking at DID,Primary Drive, RK, Regina and Renthal.

Thanks
Steve

#1 The difference between "X" and "O" is the shape of the O-ring in the chain. the X-ring is suppost to retain the chain lube better, with less friction, than the conventional O-ring.
#2 You are correct on steel being stronger and lasting longer. The ALLOY sprocket is made of harden aluminum, no real benefit unless you are trying to save weight.
#3 Hardly a differance in all, unless you prefer a namebrand.
Look for price, and tensil strenght. the more tensil strenght, less likely to stretch and break.
