Now i've heard the Ex being referred to the wheelie King. I was wondering if the front end comes up too much at times being light and all. Just wondering since i've been considering this bike over the z for my spring purchase. How is it on hills as well.........does it want to come over at times or is this easily corrected? Thanks for the help

yea it comes up easy but not that bad where u have something to worry about....their just great for wheeling, like the balance point and power is perfect...

i dont think i ever had a problem with the front end coming up when i didnt want too. once and a while it will, but its nothing to worry about. i dropped a 14t on mine and it has climbed every hill i 've thrown at it. I dont think you can go wrong with either the ex or the z.

it dosent wheelie unless you want it too, just pull back a bit and it come right up. once you find the balance point you can wheelie for miles.

lets say you are wheeling down the road .........is it possible for it to come right over..........that would suck?

dude, i would go with the ex, its a fun bike. i've been riding one for about 3 years now. unless you want the front end to come up it will. going up a hill climb i usually lean forward just incase ( who doesnt) i would say go for the ex you wont go wrong :D

Sh*t, I lean all the way forward, moved the bars up a lil, and I weigh 230lbs, and my front end comes up when I climb hills:D The front end on the bike is light. But very enjoyable:D

if i want the front wheels off the ground, they come up easy, if i want the front wheels planted on the ground, that is where they stay...it is all in body positioning, especially on hills

You don't really have to worry about going back too far just keep yer foot on the brake and if you bump the grab bar just hit the brake it will put you right back down. they are awesome for wheelies.

dont pull up too fast if you do wheelies on the road,my freind bent his grab bar, and scraped it all up when he did that, but it shouldnt roll over backwards

the 400ex is great for wheelies. wide ballence point. the 400 even with its light front end is a great hill climber. just let teh front wheels come about 2-4 inches off the ground up a hill and crawl up. i found it is easier to climb this way since 100% of the weight is transfered to the rear wheels. like others said, the front end stays planted when you want it to, usually. i have been on some hill where teh front end coming up is inevitable, as well as some tracks and trails where the front end just comes up at will but most of the time it stays on teh ground unless you want it to come up.
