banshee or raptor bansees wide and a raptor is tall an kinda wide and you will sped around 10,000 on it t get it right

i did a banshee but had a hard time getting it to run right so i sold it and make my raptor in to a drag raptor

Please don't kill another 250r frame. A crf or YZ is one thing, but a streetbike goes too far. Use a 400ex frame or something like that.

Get a custom made frame. That way it'll be the sickest/fasted quad out there. Plus I saw a guy who did this to a 400 ex - he said he would get to third and be going like 70mph. The tank was the hardest thing to fit. You'll also be able to get 50mpg with it.

Keep us posted.

OH and to answer your question, NO a 250R frame will not be best for a Street bike motor. Too cramped. Like they said a big motored quad would work better like a Raptor or DS650.

thanks for all the replys.i think im leaning to a raptor or 400ex.i dont want a banshee(crappy handling),and no ds 650(looks stupid).a 400 ex is better than a raptor, right?it handles better and it looks better.would it be much harder to fit?were is a good place to get an engine?(links or something)

thanks

Easiest quad to mount a 4 cylinder streetbike motor into is a quadzilla. ;) Banshee or raptor frame would be my 2nd choice due to all 3 having a tall frame at the motor area.

with a little tweaking a cbr 600rr goes into a 400 frame no problem u have to cut off the 400 frame mounts and stuff like that.

what if you had the cbr and turned it into a quad?
