400ex rear brake pads PLEASE HELP!

ok my stock rear brake pads had worn down to be metal on metal and i just bought brand new ebc brake pads and they seem to be rubbing metal on metal again i mean theres like barley anything left of pads . and every time i use them it slows the tires down and then makes like a thunk noise and then stops the tires.please help i cant afford another $50 on brake pads.

your brake roto is probably bent

make sure your parking brake adjustment is not staying engaged, also check to make sure caliper or rotor is not loose or bent. Just an FYI the rear brakes do wear out VERY fast on the 400ex's...especially in muddy, wet or sand conditions !

if you still have your parking brake on, take it off and get a block off plate...it will cut your brake by at least half. how many rides do you get before your pads wear? are they wearing on only one side?
