Hey what in your opinion is the best 40 weight oil??? I am going to run straight synthetic(sp) oil.... So what do you think I should use??? Oh and about an oil filter what kind should I look for that will fit my 400??? And what oil filter do you trust the most???I need a brand for high revving cuz I rev my 400 to the max...

i run honda HP4 for high performance 4 stroke. i used to use GN4 or somthing like that and i've used ams oil too. ams oil and HP4 is good. i use HP4 because it is made by honda thas the only reason

Hey I know what kind of oil Im gona use but I dont even know what Im lookin for when I go into a store to buy an oil filter.... Like what will the box say, what brand to go with, what it looks like... This is very hard for me... So any help is appreciated and all flames are unappreciated(sp)...

Just go to your Honda dealer and get one of theirs.

go to service honda and order like 10 of them. for a 400ex i believe they are $4.04 EACH

don't buy service honda they are a rip off. Check out the maintance forum they have a lot of stuff on what oils are best.

i'm talking about in genral. They charge WAYY to much for replacement parts, work, everything. Same with yamaha.

K&N $4.99

I dont know how good the quality on EMGO is becauise i never used them but they are very cheap if u wanna try them.

Nausty is thinking about a Honda dealership, which he is correct.

I don't think he knew ya meant ServiceHonda.com.

He rides alot and hits his head often. Somtimes he tightens his hockey helmet a little to much, cutting off circulation to his melon. :D

Hey hwere can I order klotz oil from??? Or Royal Purple??? No auto parts stores around here have it and they never even heard of it!!!!! So where on-line can I order this oil from???:confused:

sorry i meant honda dealers not servicehonda.com. klots is like over 8 bucks a qaurt.
