im not sayin its not bad but i can spend 600 bucks on another shock with zps and just as good.

No, it does not have ZPS. I used to have an Elka dual rate w/ linkage and the Ohlins shock w/ stock linkage is way better. It is so smooth and traction is awesome because the rear end stays planted.

Ohlins is trying to make a big step in the atv world these days.

Ive only ever riden 1 set of "tuned" ohlins and they were spectacular!

if your valving is correct within the shock there is no use for the zps spring because your valving will offer the "zps" feeling

as for what to run on the rear, i would go with Elka with the pro link, or Elka from laz at GT Thunder with his linkage, either way you cant go wrong

Ohlins you dont think can build a shock that will be just as good as the elka with the link? :confused:I am sure ohlins can build you a shock to fit your needs and a shock dont have to have a sdd spring to have the proper race sag:D

never said they couldnt, but by using a linkage you get a better shock angle along with a better progressive setup, which in turn would offer a better suspension setup :macho

ohlins makes lots of shocks that work with linkages, only ones that dont have linkages are cannondales and the ktm dirt bikes all other brands have linkages just like the ones elka makes:D

I"m running a dual rate Custom built set of Elka's now with no ZPS spring like I had before on my triple rate elkas and the ride is MUCH better with the dual rate setup...:macho
