i jsut bought this bike and it doesn't have lights on it i like to do some night riding and would like to hear everyones ideas on what i should do to get some lights on it heres a pic

I once used fog lights but thei will drain the baterie and most likley burnout the stator du to the high wattage of the lights thei hare 55w each :ermm:

i bought a $10 light from walmart and wired it into the stock headlight harness...real bright 55w (its down near the bumper)

mine is mounted to teh steering stem with two screws. cheap driveing light from wally world. dong go about about 35-40 watt, hard on the stator.

i dont know if this is possible but what if you made some kind of contraption where you can mount the light in the hood scoop of the quad tech hood. (first picture) I know its there for air and all, but i think it would be pretty cool if you could mount the light somehow inside the scoop! Itd be pretty sick!

if you have access to ebay.......sell your front fenders along with the quadtech hood on ebay and by a set of used stock fronts along with used stock headlights on ebay. Just another option :ermm:

Another option is to swap a 450r headlight and 05 plastics for the updated look. Im doing that now and should be finished by the end of the weekend. If your reallin into hiding something in the hood. Look at LED options, they draw far less power than any traditional bulb and wont heat up so there is no fear of melting any plastic.
