400ex wont start

my 400ex ran fine 2 nights ago

i checked, its getting gas, it had spark, carb is wokring correctly the gas is on...it fires once and a while but that just a quick fire and keeps on turning over...what could it be?

its really frustrating cause all i want to do is ride it and im unsure of why it wouldnt be working....

mine was did that and i had a lose battery terminal.

my buddys did that and there was a grass seed in his jet -did ya' check the fuse in the wiring by battery???

battery is fine, if the fuse was bad it would have no power at all, i checked that. it turns over just fine. just will not fire up and run

did you put the spark plug cap on good enough, i did that one time, and it wouldnt start, and if it did, the cap would rattle off so then it shut off.

If everything else is ok it could be bad gas. I would drain the tank and put fresh gas in.
Just because the stinkin oil companies are charging us more for gas these days doesn't mean it's a better product.:cool:

Did u take the spark plug out?? If not take it all the way out and clean it real good or it probaly wouldnt even hurt to get a hole new plug for it just to have one..And if that doesnt work u may wanna check all coonections to the battery and if that doesnt work then your on your own..:devil:
