Could someone tell me how many yards of concrete would be needed to pour a 25 foot x41 foot slab of concrete 4 inches thick?

Well,it seems like no matter how big you make it,their never big enough.I have been contemplating more room for about 2 years now.I'm trying to do an estimate to see if my wallet will allow it to be this big lol.

yea you need at least 6inches, 4inch will crack with vehicles parked on it, GO with 6 and then figure it all up and putt in an extra half yard to make sure you don't run out...

How much is mud in your neck of the woods? Here in Utah it's about $95 a yard

For those of you saying 6" if the stone is compacted properly underneath 4" is plenty, even if the stone isn't compacted...

Hopefully building a garage this summer, either 30'x40' at the smallest, hopefully and most likely it'll be 40'x60', sharing it with my dad. We might not pour the floor this year to afford it being bigger, and next year pour the floor and put the heating in in.

wvspeedfreak are you heating it, if so what with?

Theres about 1'' layer of dirt on top of rock were I live... a 6'' slab is un-heard of.... It also take some SERIOUS machinery to cut more than 3 ft down... Depending on how your foundation is you should be fine with 4''...

Most likely a wood furnace.
