tarping a quad. need help

hey i might buy a quad this weekend got no room in my shed for it so i might tarp it. so i was wondering if i were to tarp it if the quad would rust or if it was bad just to leave a quad sitting outside for awhile. tell me what you guys think

well except the fact that it could easily get stolen...I think you would be ok...even in a garage, it's cold just like out side...it you do a good job and cover it up good, so no water or snow can hit it...you should be just fine

Well it's not as good as being stored inside but it's better than leaving it sit in the rain. I wouldn't let the full weight of the tarp hang on fenders that aren't well supported. It will bend them down over time.

u might as well set the quad at the end of your driveway with a sign that says "Steal me"

there is always a chain and lock avalable

take one of the other quads outside and tarp it, or stick one in ur grage between the cars, thats what i do, but i have a heated garage:blah:

to bad i got a f350 and a lexas in my garge and in the middle got no room:grr: ya i can always stick the old recon outside:blah:
