what do i need to do to make my 250r out run a 450r or yfz with out doing any thing to my motor

a big head start, or hope the guy on the yfz cant ride.

to get a higher top speed you can raise your gearing but it will take you a long time to get there. to get there quicker you can lower your gearing but you will hit your top speed pretty quickly. there is not much you can do to beat a yfz withoug messing with the motor.

what exactly do you mean by doing nothing to the motor? just internal or anything at all. you caould get a pipe, bigger carb,or reeds without tearing into the motor.

not internalley i ve got some fmf torqure reeds and hoping to get an adujustable lrd pipe
what eles could i do

air intake mods, lighten it up as much as possible(switch to aluminum parts or take parts off), change the sprockets (like changing the gearing).
