I have recently purchased a 2004 YFZ450 and noticed that the throttle response seems to hesitate for about a half a second. I also own a YZ426F and it doesn't have this problem. I figured it was probably in the jetting. Either the jetting or the placement of the needle. It has no engine modifications except a Curtis Sparks pipe. I want it to respond quicker. I am the kind of guy that lets off at the base of a jump and then cracks the throttle towards the top. Well this is making it fall flat on it's face. Thanks.

You can pick up a 35 leak jet. Fixes the bog you get when stabbing the throttle. Quick fix.

If you remove the float bowl, its on the bottom. You know where that hose is under the carb ? Its by there.
