i got a chance to race a 2006 stock yfz450 today several times..rolling and a dead stop..i completly anialated it everytime in every race top end and bottom end AND to top it all off I am 90 pounds heavier (hes 5 foot 130pds and i am 6 foot 220pds)then the guy racing me...granted i have the HRC kit and his is stock but the weight diffrence IMO makes it alittle more fair IMO on a head to head comparison from my POV i say the 450R stock vs the YFZ450..well there is no comparison..now i need to get my brother off his butt and race his 352 banshee. once again not a race but he scared.

thats classic..and i feel the same way..especially now..i just raced my brother(got him off his butt)...really hes not lazy he just had the top end done on his banshee the the crank seal went out long story short hes got more money in it than its worth and wants to get rid of it before it breaks again(i love 2 strokes yeah right) but anyways we raced today and it wasnt pretty we raced 4 times from a dead stop and i killed him..even witha 352 weisco and 6 gears...still nothing( about six lengths) and even from a 5mph roll i still got him its was closer(maybe 2 legnths) but close only counts in horseshoes and hand gernades...i still sooo excited..whos next..

I'm going to race a kid who's been talking **** about how bad he drag raced me on his basically stock Raptor 660 w/ exhaust, though I've only raced one person who was on a dirt bike. I raced that buddy of mine with a crf450r, I had a terrible start and had a 13t front sprocket on, but i kept him within a bike and a half in length :D He was begging me to race him, so I did.

What do you guys think? I have port and polish, os valves, bored carb and intake, 13:1 piston, lightened flywheel, web cam, white bros pipe, white bros rev box, 14/38 sprocket combo, full suspension, etc.

Him- Looks like a stock internal 660 with a Yoshi pipe and a winch on the front :confused:

first of all...he has a winch on the front of a RAPTOR.....what the h*ll is that about..anyways back to the subject..you should undoubtly kill him...raptor are hevy and the 450R is of course rac reday and a lot lighter (power to weight ratio is immense)..you shouldnt have a problem killing him..if you do its operator error..no offense.keep us posted
