440 owners

okay quick question.. after gettin your 440 kit installed did you have to do anythin else to it besides rejetting? when i start to go.. my gear like arent going all the way threw. they will stop like in the middle of the gear? my friend thinks its becuz i didnt have a airlid box on? just askin around.
