trx 450r power

[hard one]

I am trying to decide between a honda 450 or a suzuki 450 and would like to hear from some owners on what they thought could be done to hte honda to make it better then a stock suzuki 450 since the honda cost alot less.

Is the hrc kit worth the money.:confused:

i am a big fan of honda....well known for their reliabilty i cannot speak for the suzuki and no one can yet being as ther are not available yet but i am in love with my 06 450R ER and i just got the HRC kit and yes it is worth every penny of what i paid for it ..it rocks. but by the time you get the 450R and HRC kit and get it installed i am pushing 7330.00 so after that its prolly not much more for the suzuki although i dont know what they are asking for it...go with the honda it will be you best bet

I love the hrc on my 06. this thing pulls sooooo much harder than my 87 250r. and its much more usable power (its hook up is unreal):eek2:

this weekend is nationals and i think they will be racing some of the new suzukis and it should be interesting to see how it does. ilove my 06 450r with the hrc kit. very fast bike!

exactly...you know he hasnt even sat on one much less ridden one all he knows about is what the magazines say and you know as well as i do those magazines we read get paid very well to say good things...i think they all will be very close .. and hes on a 400ex ..probably never even ridden any thing like a 450 especially w/hrc kit fasssst400ex stay in the 400ex forum this is the big boy section

i love the new suzuki it looks real nice but a little pricey and i love my trx so if was u i would get the trx and with the money u saved get some mods :D

ok maybe that was out of line but here he is making a comparison that he couldn't possibly make from an as tried standpoint....no one will know until the race.:ermm: and hes on a 400ex saying the ltz is gonna be better how could he even guess...because its fuel injected ..DOHC...so is the YFZ(-fuel injection)
you have to own one to make that comparison

have any of you read the previews and reviews for the ltr450r? theres atleast 10, and they all state, when compared, the new ltr has the quickest throttle responce of the 3 (ltr, yfz, trx) which gives it the power advantage down low... they also stated that top end was incredible, and much harder hitting than the rest

there for, it must be more powerful, and yes, i can beat the rest in factory form

if your not sure, just ask harlen, he had a chance to ride and compare them, im sure he can clarify things

No doubt the EFI is an awesome feature. Throttle response will be better, as well as other various things because of it. Faster? Don't know yet... and above all else what you are doing can mean alot. From what it looks like, I don't see where it will be better, or much better if anything from just what I am seeing as of now. Reviews? Thanks, but as hard-headed as it seems.... I will decide for myself. I don't trust much of anyone when it comes down to these things. I was told alot of untrue crap from people until I decided for myself. Same with anything... a buddy of mine fell into that trap when he bought something because people told him it was awesome.

The new Suzuki will definately be an AWESOME bike. No offense though, until I see it for myself, it is just another over-rated quad. It SHOULD be better than the rest, but we will just have to see and by how much.
