Hey, good to see somebody else from LA on here. I go there at least 10 times a year and will be goin Mardi Gras weekend. I ride a red 450r w/ sparks pipe (in my sig) If you decide to go look for me. I'm a big dude. What kind of 6 paddle tires do you have. Don't expect Glamis when you go there also, its only like 300 acres. PM me if you might be there.

I live in Clinton, north of BR (30 miles). I wouldn't call Sicily Island dunes though. Pretty much 1 big sand hill and the smoothest sand-drag strip around. Don't get me wrong, I love it up there. They have some hellacious hill climbs up there. I really don't see where front sand tires are needed at the dunes in forest hill.

If they are not worn down, I would say just use what you have. If you think you need some new ones I would prob recommend the sand stars. They are not that expensive and are the best all-around sand tire out there in my opinion. Hope this helps. Peace!

Hey man check out this video of us at LA Dunes a couple of weeks ago. We are from Lake Charles and go quite often, those paddles should be fine. We all run snows on ours and they do great. Sicily island is the place to go if you like to drag, it is so smooth. Excess Paint video (http://media.putfile.com/ExcessPaint-at-LA-Dunes)
