Found 250r/450r Hoods

There is a company called Feather Carbon (feathercarbon.com) that still makes 250r hoods. I am not sure how good they are but for $90 it is worth a shot. He will also replace or fix it if you ever damage it. I will let everyone know how well it looks and works.

they are great! i have had mine for well over year now and only has some normal scratches.

That is good to hear. Quadtech no longer makes the 250r hood w/ the scoop so I was very happy to find this company.

i have one i will sell you! its brand new.

its the 250r scooped "The Big Ugly" from feathercarbon.

i called about one about 3 monthes ago.. talked to the guy. gave him my info and then a week later when he said he'd have it done by... i called and got no answer... after calling and leaving several messages and i said screw it and got a quadtech.

3 monthes in the mail came my feathercarbon and i was charged at this time for it. WTF!!!

i'll sell it to you shipped for $60 firm

i can take pics of it this weekend for you. but its the black one just like on their website.

P.S. heres some pics i found on here on how to mount it and other pics i found with it installed on others' quads. im sure it could also be mounted on top of the plastic so u dont hafta peice em together like this... but its just one way of doing it.

Dude, Tim where were you earlier today? I finally broke down and called this guy and he said that he had the black ones in stock and would put one in the mail to me tommorow. I will call him in the morning to see if I can keep it from being mailed. If I am able to c atch him before he mails it I will let you know.
