OK, What we have is a 2006 TRX450ER.

Trying to find some common replies about the jetting on this bike. It seems to be jetted lean from the factory.

Here are the proposed mods for the bike:

1. HRC air box cover (or stock cover with 12 1 inch filter holes).

2. Removed the baffle in stock muffler (awaiting Yosh pipe, still in development)

3. Running at 300 to 500 feet above sea level.

4. Possibly changing leak jet to a smaller one, maybe a 55. No other mods for now.

Question:
Has anyone used the JD Jetting Kit?
What was your results?

From what I can gather, the JD kit has jets in the size range that would be most effective for these mods. From what I read, the main jetting should be somewhere between 160 to 180. Also, aftermarket needle improves response.

Looked into the FMF kit, jetting way too small!

Let me know what you think (especially if you have used the JD kit).

Thanks in advance for the replies!
