Does anyone have a White Brothers instruction manual that comes with a Eseries slip-on pipe for a 400EX? Maybe in a PDF format? White Brothers website has nothing.

instructions? for what? all u need to do is put the pipe on and rejet n go. and more disks the more top end power and the louder u will be. and less disks for more bottom end n quieter noise.

on my 400 i have a increase of power with less discs and a little bit more noise i put 10 discs on and tried it it's got alittle bit more of a bark than power i going for low end power on mine i have the stock jetting on mine performs beautiful my 400 was running rich untill i got my pipe on then it leaned it out the plug was always wet black and now it is brown like it should be.and why would u need instructions to put on a exhaust anyway took me 5 minutes to put on mine.

I wanted to see instructions on what main jet White Brothers recommends on using per number of discs. And possbily some official dyno charts for a 400ex, etc.

The only one I found in Google was for a XR650, but still was some good info.

is the pipe your only mod? most people i have seen with that pipe run either 10 or 12 disc. with the 12 disc i would run like a 155 main and a 42 pilot jet. for a dyno, check the dyno forum on here or go to GT Thunders website and they have some dyno's or 400ex with a white bros pipe i believe.

I have a K&N power lid installed. All else is stock. The jetting with the power lid is a 170 main with the stock exhaust. I already have the 42 pilot installed too.

So, I was thinking with the White Brothers pipe, three steps above the 170 would be 177. Since a 155 is three steps above 148 (stock) that should be about right.

What do think?

well a 170 sounds a little big to start with. i only have a 178 in my bike with a K&N, no lid, cam, 426 bore, 11:1 comp, and an HMF slip on. i would say you should be close where you are at if not a little rich. i will admit mine is a little lean for the weather but yours should be pretty rich for what it is.
