Funny $#@% at Glamis

I was at Glamis this last weekend and I had this guy camp next to me. I had to get a pic and show all of you.
First off this guy would ride with this Gladiator helmet. It was made of steal and had no protection at all just steal on his head. Then on every ride he would pack 6-8 Corona’s (GLASS) in his backpack! He did not even bring a helmet.
I will just let you look at the pics and see for your self.

These are the kind of people that give the sport a bad name. They drink, ride quads, get hurt, and complain quads are dangerous.... in that order. STUPID HURTS !

Wow!! I saw that guy out at the hill... not only was he only one glove, that guy had two different pipes on his v force. Only one is functional and the other was just for looks... He could have atleast got matching pipes, but they were two different brands. HAHAHA

yea the brute force is not a very popular bike:rolleyes: , but no matter what you guys say, he bought the atv and he supports the industry so yea, he gives it a bad name, but also he is one more person that has one., wich is good with me, i myself ride on coal mine roads, all the time, all my life pretty much, and its not protected or regulated. i wear a helmet when i go to hatfield and mccoy trails but other than that, its my choice not to wear one. helmets are good im not saying dont wear one or ur not a man, im just saying not for me, when i dont have to i dont feel like i should. call me a redneck, i know i am going to here it but imo to each their own.:chinese:

I can't believe what I am hearing,You guys that ride with out a helmet, your right it is up to you,but just sit there and think about you family siting around one day without you just because it was hot out or you just don't like putting on on a helmet.

ITS up to you but think about your family and the fact that they might acually miss you:mad:

Anyway sorry for sounding like a mom just my 2cent:(

i understand that, but its like wearing and not wearing a seat belt. i feel more unsafe in a car than on a quad. beleive me i think about them, but when im out riding, i am having my time, and it wouldnt be as fun with a helmet on. i dont get to ride everyday. its funny, even though i dont wear a helmet all the time i spent 250 bucks on it. lol. i need the 60 dollar ones

You guys must ride on some really nice open trails. I wear a helmet and goggles to protect my head from tree branches, jaggers, and the occasional accident. Actually, I don't even take test runs up and down the driveway without a helmet. I've read too many horror stories. One of my worst accidents occurred 200 ft from my trailer when I did a wheelie and a stick got wedged between the ground and my a-arm as I landed. Bike flipped right over with the bike landing on my back and head. Who knows what would have happened without the helmet.

Just promise me one thing when you go to the hospital, don't mention you were riding an ATV. Say you were riding a skateboard when it happened...

It was funny because he wanted to ride with me???
I told him that I was going to go later but soon as he left I was out ridding. Without him!!!
At one point he seen me at the hill and parked next to me so I did not go by my quad till he left. I did not want anyone to think that I knew him. he even came over to my camp and had a beer but no one would talk to him. He left a short time after...
