well i am training for a half marathon right now so lately i've been doing more distance running...but my last timed mile was about 6:45 i believe and that was by no means pushing it- you really shouldnt worry about your mile time unless you compete in track or cross country...if you dont run on a regular basis, anything under 8 minutes is pretty darn good in my book.

Last time I ran it, I did it in 8 min 23 sec. And that was in gym class, so I didnt try because I didnt wanna be sweaty the rest of the day, lol. I bet I could get in the mid 7's at least.

My senior year in high school I ran a 5:00 mile during a pratice. We ran the mile first then did 20x400's. So I could probly run a 4:20 mile. That was when I was in shape now i'm afraid of what it might be.

i walked a 15 minutes mile in gym today. My football coach is my weight lifting teacher so he doesnt really care what we do. During season we had a serious times mile and i ran like a 7:30, ive never been any good at the mile. Sprints i can do, mile is something i need to work on.

4:58 as a freshman in high school. That was definetly the best shape of my life when I ran a timed mile at least every day and worked out every other day. And now I am slow and out of shape. :( But I am planning on racing soon, so I am trying to get back into really good shape. It's hard, but I hope it's worth it

Well let's see I ran a mile in 9:30 but I did it for 26.2 of them in a row!!!! That was in 2003, I ran the Buffalo Nissan Marathon. Not too bad for an old guy huh? I can do a mile sprint in around 6:20. Still recovering from knee surgury in the beginning of the year. Can't wait to start running again....

run? hmmm let me count the reasons...

1) bees.
2) last call
3) hell froze over and they're giving bikes away at the quadshop
4) while licking my fingers and trying to wipe the bar-b-que sauce off my shirt after falling into my bucket of spicey hotwings, i bump into a disgruntled, hungry bear with a sever dislike for noisey atver's :huh

I"m 32 and just got back from running 5 miles at lunch and did it in 41 minutes 14 sec. So I'm barely over 8 minute miles at 5 miles. When I do my 3 mile run I cut it down to around 7.3 minute miles.

Next month I have 3.5 mile race, a 6.5 mile race, then in April a 10 miler and in May a 13 miler...
