06 kick 450R

i just got back from the local honda shop about getting my new 450 for this season... and he said there is no way he can get me a 06 kick start 450R?!?!?! i thought they were optional?

really? that ticks me off... i dotn really feel like searching all over to find a kick... i'm really thinking aobut calling HONDA and seeing whats up and seeing if there is any way they can get one to my dealer

Just have them send it right to ur house. It will save the $400 of them putting it together n putting gas, oil n antifreeze in it.

my dealer told me they were only sending 300 to the states.... i think they are full of it but who knows.

That is strange that sponge bob saw them a month ago and my dealer says the kicker won't be available till mid to late Feb.?

The dealer has to be the one that orders it,you can't have Honda just send him one.

Kickers are not out to the general public Borich Just got 3 of them beginning of last week..

My husband has 1 on order and the dealer called and said it was in Yesterday.Only to find out that it was a E-start..

its slated to come in for Feb 28th tho.

You cant get 1 unless your dealer ordered them, We had to put money down to get 1.

Not every dealer will have them..

Your Local Honda dealer can do a search on their computer. Maybe there is another dealer close by they can trade with or just get it from them.

Not anymore. Honda moved production of the 450R to Japan, which, in my opinion, will only improve the quality.

i heard same thing no kickers till end of feb.

I put a deposit on the kicker the day honda announced it. called today for an update and they said april or may.

I dont know about that, my 06 had all sorts of bolts loose.At he time I didn't even ride it I had one footpeg with the bolts hand tight.The bolts on one side of the A-arms were loose.I went to rejet the carb and found out I didnt even have to loosen the calmps to get the carb off the clamps on the boot were loose..After seeing that I went over the whole quad.

wow... april or may!!! thats a long time... i woulda just got the electric and put the kicker in it...

This thread is funny cause for the past two years, everyone has been wanting an E start and now that they have one, people are freaking out because there worried about not having a kickstart.

Ha ha ha.....that is so true. I am happy with kicker version, always have been. I am waiting to get a LTR or TRX, so for me april is fine.

Well, I just sold my '05 and have been working with my sales manager at the dealer I work at on getting a '06 kick. He called our regional Honda sales rep and I think I will be lucky enough to get one next week. I will let you all know if it shows like it should. I believe we are getting two blacks.
