percision(sp) stabilizers are the best you can get..

yea percision is a great stabilizer if ur willing to fork over some money but i would tell you to go with w w.e.r. stabalizer very very easy to maintain and the settings are easy to adjust as well and only takes like 10 min to install for like 320 bucks, only have to switch oil in it every 6 months and its just the fact of puching all th eold stuff out with all the new

PEP is alright, but you'd have to buy 2 to really notice a difference over really harsh stuff. I'd say save up for the Precision, it's money well spent and real quality work put into it. Check out their website and look at the hammer test, if that doesn't convince you, I dunno what will :D

the precisions dont have any seals in them so they dont blow out like the Scotts and ohlins.

The radial dampners are great because they dont work agaist you like two stick style dampers would.

I dont know if you have noticed but the two stick style damper fad sort of died out.

If you can swing it, go with the precision.

I have heard alot about the precision stabilizer but what about the WWER?

02-02-2006, 11:47 AM
i got a PEP stick style one, havent tried it out yet but will as soon as my shocks get back.

02-02-2006, 02:25 PM
ive ran a denton and blew it out in 3 races, precision is the ONLY stabilizer out there that is worth the money, it is the best, and should definantly be what you end up purchasing, nothing else is on its level, nor close to it

i run a wer and compared to stick dampeners..it's night and day difference!!

i can literally go through the roughest parts of where i ride and hold on with 2 fingers...great dampener for the $$...have not tried the precision but i'm sure they're also good, just 160.00+ more

alright i can only afford to spend about 200 before season starts and i really need a stabilizer....... what is the best one for that price range

02-06-2006, 04:13 PM
id get a non rebuildable stick one...they last longer then the rebuildable ones. Look on ebay or the forsale section here. I picked a pretty much brand new PEP stabilizer for $75 shipped off here

alright finally got a stabilizer.... it is a PEP non rebuildable stabilizer. bought it for 50 bucks from a guy at a yard sale and had my friend fabricate a mount for the steering stem and the frame. took the bike to the track and it worked great... couple guys at track rode my bike and loved how it handled, couldnt get precision or wer but got a decent one for now

what is a good price for a WER that needs rebuilt and is two years old?
