bad crash on sunday. head on with utility, i didnt win. no injury except my wallet $$$$!, ****ole!

tubes where top shock mounts are: pushed back aprox 1".

probly can be fixed, but i dont really want to do it. checked $$ on new 06 frame=$900,

new 05 frame=$400

anyone know if i can use the 05 main frame, they look the same to me, but i know they lowered it so idk.

aftermarket options?

the motor was moved forward and down i believe. Shock linkage mounts are different i believe, front shock mounts are higher, its safe to say you are gonna be payin some hard cash for a new 06 frame :(

OMFG that sucks...$900!?!?!?! i thought the $500 for mine was bad

yeah, i could take the $400 i guess. service honda

but another $500 on top of that, it really sucks. the 06 frame lists for around $1100 or so. why so much more? just because its new? they moved a couple of things around.

i could try and fix it, but theres alot of short tubes right there, id probly have to cut, weld, xtra gussets.

all the damage was above my bumper and a-arms

My friend bent his frame on his 04 450r. He had JRD bent it back guesst it and powder coat it. Go to www.jrdmech.com they are great guys to deal with and do some really good work. I know its going to be more then $400 and less then $900, but your frame is going to be stronger and nicer looking with the pc'.

not to bad-mouth joe, but if he says 2 weeks, plan on waiting AT LEAST 2 months.

thanks guys, list on the 06 frame is $1300. i can get it for $900.
going to dealer tommorrow, try and get them to give me a break on this frame. i cant wait 2 months, y'know.
