Honestly Pred power VS 450 er

I would like a honest answer. My friend owns a 05 pred with a slip on K&N and head ported, what will I have to do to my 06 450 to smoke him on the hole shot on a Mx track he is quit a good rider so if he takes the holeshot I will struggle to catch him but the reverse is also tru.

I know most are honda biased but to me most 450s-500 are close with personal choice the final winner.
I rode his bike very stong on torque, but hate the way it pushes me on the tank. and honda looks better.:chinese:

06 450r with the hrc kit ... will murder the predator.

I wouldn't go as far as to say "murder", but with the HRC kit, or even a good pipe/open airbox/jet setup you should be able to beat him. I was never "murdered" on my Pred, but have lost by 1-2 bike lengths of Yfz/450r's on start stretches that had the combo I mentioned above. I understand that the cam will only add more power to the R, but I consider "murder" to be a good explaination of an R vs. say......a Raptor 350. :p
