There is a little clamp that holds the front brake line to a bracket. Look for this by tracing the front brake line down till you see what i'm talking about (its near the upper stem bearing/clamp). Then remove the bolt that clamps the brake line to the bracket. This will free up whatever slack you may have left with the stock front brake line when you get your extended stem :)

Both would be good. I usually look at which one is has the beefiest gussets up by the top of the stem. As you probably know, this is the place where the stem usually wants to bend in a rollover or crash. IMO Roll is good stuff, but overpriced, I would probably choose the LSR out of the two.

ok im gonna go with LSR then.below is what im gonna get with it.
Pro-Taper atv mid bend bars
Progrip grips
Factory Effex grip donuts
Pro-Taper grip glue
r them donuts only meant for twist throttles or both.

Deffinately the houser! They are huge up top. I would have no problem betting that they are the strongest (and priced right).

Yeah I was totally thinking of the Housers when I was typing that lol. They have nice little triangle gussets that are boxed, looks pretty strong.

the majority of stems ive seen bent, bend right above where the stem clamp is. the gusstes up top will prevent flex from rider inertia, but do little to prevent the actual stem from bending.

LSR is a good choice, I liked the houser until i felt how heavy it was. I think you could kill a tank with it, very well built tho!

im gonna go with LSR then i went on housers website and all they have is black stems but i have another question would a +2 stem from houser be better than a +1 stem i want it to clear my ims tank and how do they come foward. and why dont houser sell stuff on there site just curious.

a +1 stem clears the larger tanks. and as far as the +2, the higher you go the weaker they are. thats just plain leverage in action and doesnt mean anyones product is junk etc.

im gonna go for the LSR +1 stem then, thanks for all your help u guys i'll post pics of it when i get it but it wont be for a little while.
if i go with pro taper atv mid bend bars then would i have to get longer cables and stuff or is it the same or do i have to go with cr low bend bars.

i'm almost positive that houser makes a crome one too....i have one and it is really strong, and it is not to bad pricewise.
