Do any of you all have the aluminum airboxs? What exactly is the purpose of putting your battery inside of the airbox? Also, has anyone made there own? If any of you have, do you have a drawing, dimensions? This could give me an excuse to learn how to TIG weld...lol:D Thanks

I have one and there great...there's few reasons to have one over the stock plastic one..fer one it's stronger and more durable,,second your battery puts alot of stress on your subframe and can cause your subframe to bend if you jump alot,,mines bent partially from this. third your battery is out of harms way along with the wiring,,(that is if you can keep your dog from eating it:eek: ) There not a must to have but I like the idea of centering up the wieght of your rearend and they look Kewl too....:D
