I wanna get a new or used CBR 600 this spring. Where is the best place to look for new? I have seen alot of you buying quads from a dealer in Kentucky or Tennesse. Do they sell Bikes at those sweet proces as well? Also for those of you who have bikes for a first time buyer most of the people have told me to go used becasue ill prolly wreck it! Whats your feelings on this? I want either a F4i or RR not sure Want either red/black, Black Tribal, Silver/ black, white/ red.

dont get a new one. You may not wreck it but you will ding it up a bit im about %99 sure of that so if you get a used one you can learn how to ride and take care of it better. You ding up a used one its not that big of a deal but a new one your gonna cry over. But of course, if you have the $$$ get a new one and try your best not to scrape it up

if it is your first bike, your gonna lay it down. there are some good deal in Ohio as well. honda of troy usually has good prices on their stuff. My bro actually has a 99 CBR f4 for sale. if you want you can PM him, his username is Jonesy.

I just bought a streetbike myself and it is used. It's a kawi ZX 9R.
I would have liked to buy a honda but I got it for a good price.
Buying used definitely saves $$$.I can't help you with where to buy,but you should find information on the type of bike you are looking for so you will know the good and bad points. Also check around the web to see what the going prices are.
Good luck on your search.

don't be scared to buy new. i bought a brand new ninja 636 in july of 04 and have not gotten a single scratch on it. i ride wheelies, do stoppies, and have about 2500 hard miles on it. still looks mint condition.

good luck finding a bike.

if moneys an issue, bur a used one, and if you want somethin that comf. and fast, and u don't wnat to do wheelys and stuff with it, buy a harley davidson v-rod, those are just as fast as crotch rockets, and the insurance is 1/4 the price because it's a harley, my friends brother told me because he has one

Im looking at a Buell Firebolt XB9R. I went and sat on both a RR and F4i and the Buell is by far the most comfortable. As far as the RR i completely ruled it out way to uncomfortable and not what i need it for. I just want a bike to blow by my buddies on and look good and economical.

a harley v-rod is not near as fast as my ninja, they may run good but my ninja weighs half as much and puts out more hp to the tire. as far as insurance, it just depends on the company you go through. my insurance only cost me $400 a year.
