I've have had my lrd Pro 4 series system for more than a year now, and the head pipe is getting brown and rusted. So how can i clean it up. Can i polish it, or not becuase its ceramic

do a search and put in brown header

that did not help, nothing said anything about ceramic. what do people do, just sand it a little, then some polishing compound?

I'm going to wrap my big gun header using hot rod header wrap, it will make it look better and you wont melt any snowboarding pants or anything on it, they have different colors and 50' of it is just 20 bucks on ebay. make sure to soak the wrap for a little while before you wrap the header, it will make it much easier, then let it dry

I just used steel wool and kept wiping it off after a little bit, but soap water would've probably made it a lot easier.

Here's how well mine cleaned up after doing that. Before it was caked with at least an inch of baked on mud and dirt.

i just take them to work and put them in the pickle tubs for 15min or so.pickle tubs contain a %10 sodium chloride acid and water mix.:)

ya i put mine in the hot tank at work for an hour and it washes right off
