Need Info quick!!

I found on the internet a hotcam stage 2 for sale (400ex).The guy said that the cam run perfectly when he take it apart.

The cam doesn't have the sprocket and bearings.

He said that the cam have a little more than 6months

I can have it for $50Us + shipping.

Bad or good ???

It has '6 months' on it? You don't know how much it was really used or maintained. The sprocket mount is missing, no bearings. It could have been one of the cams that had a problem with the sprocket coming off......

It may be fine but IMO i'd pass....

i believe that's one of the old style 400EX cams that did not have the integral sprocket flange. Lots of people had problems with those because of the OEM flange being loose. You'd have to press the old flange off your stock cam and back on that one. All the newer HC's have the flange "built on". Good grind with added compression. IMO for a little more money a new one would be a much better idea.
