How Do A Make My Kfx400 Louder?

I HAVE AN WHITE BROTHERS E-SERIES AND I AM RUNNING TWELVE DISCS.I WANT IT LOUDER. IS IT OK TO RUN NO DISCS AND JUST THE END CAP OR SHOULD I GET MORE DISCS?

if you really must know just take that solid spark assertor off and either leave the rings or take them off it dont matter but its way louder

You may be right that people don't care but it only takes one person to gripe and they're usually the loudest (no pun intended)

I have 12 discs in mine and that's plenty loud. The exhaust is made to run with the discs, they're there for a purpose. It wouldn't surprise me if you lost power.

Well go to www.tcracingengines.com scroll down and call them for a TC shorty for the KFX400....its the loudest pipe your gonna hear in your life. Look in the 400ex Information forum and look around for TC threads. See what there saying about those pipes.


oh yeah its about 130 dBs unlike the e-series which is only like 100.1 dbS

All this coming from a guy that cant afford to fix his bent frame, has no clue on jetting and now wants a louder pipe than an e-series.. WOW !!

ltz400rider118 i cant afford to fix my frame because **** isnt handed to me i have to pay for it.i do have an idea on jetting but a buddy of mine recomend jettig it and i would rather do it the right way once,i just wanted to be sure.i dont think pipes being loud gives people bad ideas about atv riders its the people that ride with no helmet ride on the road and others land with out permisson and atv accidents caused by morons.ltz400rider118 i am 15 so coming up with 500 bucks to fix my machine is really hard. i am working to pay off my machine besides loud pipes save lives!

Running a nasty loud pipe just sounds stupid and only hurts our image. In case you haven't noticed this is the general concensus of most everyone here. I understand your young, but show some maturity and protect your right to ride. Don't ruin it. You may think no one cares, but it only takes one person to get the ball rolling to getting rid of your favorite riding spot. :(

i only ride at my house which has 15 acres in the sticks where no1 can here me or at my friend mike who has 180 acres also in the sticks so anoying people is kinda hard when my nearest neighbor is almost a mile away.

u should find the loudest pipe with the best power. it is not fun riding a loud quad with out the power to back it up. before u buy a loud pipe i would save up and get ur frame fixed cuse it can make things wair premuturly.

1. you CAN run it without any discs, it will be louder
2. The Curtis Sparks exhaust is extremely LOUD

hey man im with u, loud pipes rule. liek you tho, i have 180 acres of private land with no1 to bit*h about it except my grandpa lol. if i rode on public land, i would defnitely go wiht a quieter pipe and i would hate to have my riding privileges taken away. ive got a hmf sport series pipe and i love it.

hey NYKFXRIDER06 , do you think the rest of us have our quads "handed to us"? I think not! I paid off my quad along time ago and I bust my butt to buy my mods. NO SPONSERS HERE!! you need to take care of your frame before worrying about how loud your pipe is. That just shows your maturity. loud pipes dont do anything but annoy they hell out of your neighbors. SMART riding saves lives!

I was going to say that NYKFXRIDER06 could drive 10 mins down the road and I could halp him fix his frame for next to nothing, but I can see he is one of the reasons I can't ride in otisville anymore. Bud, there are more important things than sound, like a straight frame and having your wheeler out of the pond. I'm sure it would love an oil change and a filter cleaning, bc i doubt your doing that on a regular basis. i said loud pipes are aweosme logn as theres noone around to annoy. im on both sides, i LOVE the sound of my hmf. but, if i rode near anyone, id have a MUCH quieter pipe because i would be pissed if someone took my riding privilieges away so i wouldnt wanan give them any reason to tell me i cant ride.

Otisville is a town about 10 minutes from greenville, weve got a sandpit and a bnuch of trails and old train tracks there but quads got banned from riding due to loud exhausts.

Cut the header off about 3inc...screw it just unbolt the header and it sounds so good and i mean it increase power way more than a white bros pipe, you may have to rejet though but just try it

you'd be suprised what that S.O.B. sounds like with that toomey on it. its louder than piss. I got a pulse charger on my kfx, and its loud.
