Draining Coolant

Hey all this is a really n00b question but how do u completely drain the coolant out of ur bike?

with a cool quad, take off your rad cap, disconnect the lower coolant hose by the pump, and stick a bucket underneath it, let it all drain out for a while

and then with the hose still disconnected, and the bucket present, pour distilled water into your rad, and flush out all the coolant through your system

last, fill up the new stuff +cough+ engine ice +cough+

make sure you use distilled water though! (can be bought at a gas station market) or you will cause corrosion in your cooling system

Use the drain bolt. It's the bottom bolt on the water pump. Use distilled water and distilled white viniger at 50/50 mix to flush.
