Welp, its that time of year and we will be rebuilding my brothers 05 SE YFZ.

He really liked the color scheme from the factory along with the additions we did last year at this time. I will keep this thread updated as progress takes place.

New Burgard +3 HD A Arms. The uppers are chromed.

She wont look much different then before, but we will gusset the frame, and pc stealth, new fenders, and thats about it. I have some new Elka front shocks ordered for it, but we will be retaing the Derisi rear shock, it just works too good to change.

i dont think i even have to re powdercoat anything from last season, its all good to go.

nope, standardtravel just like yours only +3 with the new frap ball joint

yeah the aftershock did not help:D but i hardly ever drink so a few sips and im happy as a clam:p i was so tired i dont know how i finished it all, kevin woke me up as i feel asleep in my chair in the shop when the frame was done. i was back up at 7 am out pushing snow and just came inside, im sure he is still snoozing away:cool:

it was a challange, worked out ok and he is actually doing some reassembly tomight. by the end of this week its possible that it will be back one the ground. he just finished doing the cam mod and the engine can now be reinstalled etc.

kevin uses that cooler non stop. he will strap the frame to it and he can roll it anywhere he needs to. he does not have a big gargage so it comes in handy:p

yeah it does, but im used to it i reckon. i grew up in my dad's welding shop so getting burned was a daily deal. i think the thing i hated the most was laying under a piece of equipment welding and having a spark or piece of hot slag get into my ear:p

Yeah i hear that. I work in a plant that makes ductile iron pipe, i am constantly around 25-2800* iron all day, Sparks are flying and hot iron is being poured around me, not to mention welders, torches and the like. I have a few scars because of those things.

the HD arms use a frap style ball joint. i try and keep them in stock so if you need a set let me know

I think the side covers are magnisium and they spot up real bad when you polish them. I know the head cover will. Maybe a billet on down the road a little.

I can polish the wholey hell out of it, and you could have Pappy clear coat it, it wont be as shiny, but it woulc keep the spots from appearing. Magnesium will spot like crazy, and whatever the 450R valve cover is made of spots really bad also. I polished the 450R valve cover for pappy when i was out chillin, but it spotted up the instant he washed it.

I love the RE system, it makes real good power all the way to the top. We got 44 hp out of it . And its not crazy loud unless you are really on it.
