it looks like a socket,u can get a regular socket and grind it down or find a thin walled socket,i hear that works too

A thin walled 18mm 3/8 drive deep socket works very nicely with a 1 inch extension.
A thin walled socket will usually be a 12 point socket available from sears,home depot or any quality tool supplier
